It's easy for Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) to turn on the negative side of being an HSP. Too emotional, too weak, never quick decisions, easily upset, and so on and so on. When HSPs are down, it's important to look at the bright side of being an HSP! Here's 10 qualities to get started:
Excellent listening skills. Yes, HSPs love to listen. This is exceptional, as many persons don't make the time to listen. Having an HSP at work always ready to listen is something many persons really appreciate.
Showing empathy. When listening to someone, HSPs feel their pains. Their desires. What they're going through. Showing emotions as a reaction of what someone else is going through might be just what other persons need. So they're assured their emotions are righteous with this precious gift.
Creativity. Thanks to a limitless imagination, HSPs can turn 'normal' projects into wonderful projects just by brainstorming by themselves.
Conscientious. Bosses can love their HSPs, as he/she will rarely need to check up on them. HSPs continue to work - doing nothing is no option. HSPs might insist on this with their bosses, so he/she will have more time to look at what the others are doing.
Focus and concentration. When deeply concentrated, one can achieve the highest results.
Intuition. Those small details that change and that only HSPs can see - it's a gift discovering them. Colleagues and friends will be very grateful when HSPs share the newest trends.
Alone? No problem. Some people need to have constantly persons around them. So they don't feel lonely. HSPs, on the other hand, can be alone for hours, or even days, without any problem.
Notice the details. If there's something wrong, HSPs will be the first to notice. Others have difficulties seeing these.
Great with animals. HSPs love animals - and it goes both ways.
Great with kids. Because HSPs are able to tune into their kids' emotions, they can quickly react on their needs.
